Jairam Ramesh To Launch India’s First ‘National Centre For Marine Biodiversity’ Project In Gujarat

February, 28, 2011: India’s Minister of Enviornment and Forest Shri Jairam Ramesh will launch India’s first ‘National Centre for Marine Biodiversity’ project at Jamnagar on Wednesday, 2nd March. Ramesh will also address a press conference here.

 

The event hosted by Gujarat Ecology Commission will be held at Marine National Park office, Dwarka road, Jamnagar.

 

It should be mentioned here that Gujarat’s forest and environment minister Mangubhai Patel had recently met Jairam Ramesh in Delhi and had proposed such national-level institute for elaborate research in the area of marine biodiversity.
