Sanctuary Kids for Tigers Candle Light Vigil

December 12, 2009 Copenhagen Update: In solidarity with the thousands of people in Copenhagen who are asking world leaders to see the light, Sanctuary Kids for Tigers, Programme, Bangalore, India, organised a Candle Light Vigil at 6.pm at the iconic Sir Puttanchetty Town Hall building. Nearly 150 students, teachers, parents, volunteers participated by standing in the 350 formation, candles in hand.

The event was well covered by the electronic media, including NDTV, Udaya TV, Channel-9 and by print media including Deccan herald,Times of India,The Hindu and Dinamaller. KFT Bangalore is proving to be very active in deed and many Bangalore photographers make it a point to seek out their events, which present wonderful photo opportunities such as this one.  Volunteers including Smt. Meera Rajesh, Sandhya and Richa and teachers such as Revati, Mr.Vijendra Babu helped organise the "350" exposition. Smt. Allirani  of K.K.English school and the point teacher of Issac Newton school were  all present.
