The Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Festival 2017

The Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Festival 2017

The first-ever Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Festival 2017 is set to take Mumbai by storm. You don't want to miss this! Organised in association with, and supported by the Urvi Ashok Piramal Foundation and the M. R. Morarka Foundation, the festival will be held at the Royal Opera House (ROH) in partnership with  'The Quarter' and ROH between November 4-10, 2017.

At Sanctuary, we believe that powerful, evocative images have the power to draw out supportive human responses; and that photography is an art form that has helped protect wildernesses virtually from the time cameras were invented. Conservation photography is a blend of technical skills, natural history knowledge, field experience, and an innate desire to protect wild nature. The Sanctuary Wildlife Photography Festival will showcase all that, and more.

With photography workshops, exhibitions, film, music and a grand awards ceremony, the festival promises to be a celebration of conservation and wildlife photography like none other. From some of the country’s finest wildlife photographers to young Kids for Tigers, there’s something for everyone.
