African Safari-Kenya – August 12-21, 2011
After ten successful members’ camps to Kenya, once again BNHS brings to you Kenya Safari. With over 200 species of birds and 30 species of mammals, Kenya is boon for nature lovers. Experience the thrill to watch animals like Wildebeest, Giraffe and Gazelles running across plains of Masai Mara. The participants can see animals of the African Savannah like African Lion, Cheetah, Hook-lipped and Square-lipped Rhinoceros, Cape Buffalo, Striped and Spotted Hyena, Nile Crocodile, Zebra, Oryx and the largest land animal – the African Elephant. Besides these one can see the largest bird, Somali and Common Ostrich, huge flocks of lesser and greater flamingos, Secretary Bird, Superb Starling, White-headed Barbet, Vulturine Guineafowl, Helmeted Guineafowl, Southern Ground Hornbill, Kori Bustard, Woodland Kingfisher and many more.
