In light of the space constraints in urban areas such as Delhi and the increased incidence of pesticides and chemicals in fruits and vegetables, Kitchen Gardening is emerging as a viable option to produce fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs for tasty and healthy meals. Kitchen Gardening as an art can be practiced everywhere, including balconies, verandahs, terraces, backyards and society premises. This unique Workshop by BNHS, the oldest environmental research NGO in India, aims to equip you with the knowhow to grow such useful plants at home.
The Workshop will cover various techniques and hands-on training, required for growing plants at home, including composting. After successful workshops in Mumbai, BNHS is all set to organize this unique event at its Conservation Education Centre (CEC) in Delhi.
