Kids
for Tigers is not an achievement based programme, however awards
have been instituted at various levels to encourage students to
participate in the programme. Kids for Tigers Ambassadors will be
selected based on their expression of love for nature and the tiger,
their willingness to learn about nature conservation and their ability
to articulate conservation issues, work with others and organise
'Save the Tiger' campaigns in school, at home and in the region.
The number of signatures collected on 'Save the Tiger' Petition
Sheets as well the additional creative effort they put in (e.g.
songs, skits, art, essays, projects) and their participation in
the Tiger Fest will also be considered. Children must express a
willingness to set a personal example of good environmental practices
and must communicate the importance of saving tigers at home, in
school and in the neighbourhood.
For all awards please note that: The decision of the judges appointed
by Kids for Tigers is final and binding. Teachers who accompany
children are responsible for their wards. An indemnity bond to this
effect will need to be signed prior to attending walks, camps, etc.
No prizes or awards can be exchanged for cash. For any queries on
the terms and conditions, please contact info@kidsfortigers.org
