Chameleon by Niranjan Sant

This image deserves our attention for the sheer exuberance of its composition. The chameleon Chamaeleon zeylanicus moves very, very slowly. Its prehensile tail and its ability to get a firm grip on the thinnest of twigs makes it perfectly suited for life in trees. Everyone knows, of course that the other end of the chameleon is armed with a long and very sticky tongue that it shoots out to snap up unsuspecting prey.
