Wasp by Yuwaraj Gurjar

Predatory wasps (Order: Hymenoptera) paralyse their quarry without killing it to ensure a fresh food supply for their own larvae. Once immobilised by a powerful sting, the prey, in this case a moth caterpillar, which is many times the wasp’s weight, is dragged over several metres of undulating terrain to a nest burrow in the ground.
