Carrying Your Lunch
Special Mention: Nikhil Tambekar
Adult wasps hunt for food by stinging their prey, which often include other insects and then bring their food back to the nest for baby wasps or larvae to consume. The photographer observed wasps for three days before he was able to capture this perfect action moment of a wasp with its victim – a bee – at the Lohara lake area in the buffer zone of the Tadoba Tiger Reserve.
