Brilliant Hues Of The Northeast
Incredibly beautiful primula flowers grow on boulders in an icy water stream in the subalpine region of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. In the higher Himalaya, where habitats are mostly covered with snow and streams are frozen, life flourishes as summer sets in. The ice starts melting and streams start flowing from the high peaks nourishing life along its path. These moss and shrub-covered slopes become home and provide food to many kinds of insects, birds and mammals.
