Established by the MoEF, the institute offers a two-year residential Postgraduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM).
Admission: Entrance test which consists of a written exam, group discussion and interview. The Common Entrance Test (CAT) used by the IIMs is the qualifying written test.
M. Phil. in Natural Resource Management is also offered as a one-year residential course for postgraduates, with five years experience in forestry or environment related fields. A seminar and personal interview comprise the selection procedure.
