| The work profile of a person interested
in forestry and wildlife involves working indoors, either in
an office or a laboratory or working in the forest, or both.
You must be prepared for a rough life in the wild, and must
preferably possess skills such as excellent observation power,
a deep love for nature and a scientific mind, especially if
you are involved in research-related activities.
B. Sc. Forestry
Course content includes Physics, Botany, Meteorology, Silviculture,
Forest Surveying and Mapping, Land Development, Biometry and
Statistics, Forest Soils and their Management.
Eligibility: A background in Science is needed at
the 10+2 level, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the
subjects being tested at the time of admissions.
