The issue of wildlife conservation in the face of poaching is a real challenge. The intricately woven story spans the lovely jungles of central India, going on to Nepal, Myanmar, Indonesia, USA and China. This mystery drama is the story of a popular tigress that mysteriously vanishes from the high-security Kanha Tiger Reserve. The role of BNHS in conservation finds laudable mention in the story. The book reading will be followed by an open discussion, which will include the author; Mr Bittu Sahgal, Editor, Sanctuary Magazine and Shri Sumit Mullick (IAS), author, Additional Chief Secretary – Culture & Tourism and Chief Protocol Officer, Govt of Maharashtra. Venue: BNHS, Hornbill House, opposite Lion Gate, Fort, Mumbai. Time: 5.30 pm. All are welcome with family and friends.
