Jumping Spider and Plant Hopper by Yuwaraj Gurjar

This exquisite plant hopper (order: Hemiptera; family: Derbidae) is unaware that it is being pursued by a jumping spider (family: Salticidae), capable of leaping 20 times its body length in one deadly leap. Specialised sap-feeders, plant hoppers have no weapons to defend themselves and must use camouflage to avoid being eaten. In this case, the spider has probably just found itself a meal.
