Leopards are truly elusive cats and being able to photograph them is always special. The photographer was on a safari at Katezari when he saw a leopard crossing the road at a distance. But as them moved closer, the spotted cat disappeared behind a tree. We were delighted, says Patil, when after around 20 minutes, the leopard peeped out to see if we were still around. A quick click at the right moment resulted in this wonderful image before it disappeared into the forest.
