Cheetahs In The Making
Ndutu in Tanzania is where migratory herds of wildebeest go to give birth or for ‘calving’. A few years ago when we were in Ndutu during the calving season, there was a cheetah with four small cubs close to our camp. We found them on a number of occasions and on one such occasion, we found the four cubs practicing their tree climbing skills. They would climb a short tree and then jump off repeatedly.
