Adieu Bandhavgarh's Jhurjhura Tigress

Many questions will again be asked over impacts of tourism in Tiger Reserves. It has over & again been proved that tourism is a positive factor to conservation. But alarm bells are ringing loud in parks like Bandhavgarh, Kanha, Corbett & a few others where mafia calls the shots with a section of corrupted foresters. Will there ever be stringent laws to overrule these elements & curb the nuisance in tourism?

Moreover quite humorously certain individuals with vested interests have already started the process of putting balm on the current incident by their silliest of observations & intention-driven findings trying to sit back on 'official' proceedings that are generally used to camouflage such 'crimes' in our country. We can be assured that no one with political backing or fame will face heat in this case as in many others.

So many photographers have shot numerous pictures of this magnificent Tigress at Bandhavgarh and have never felt a minimum urge to voice against the tragic hapenning. A section of so-called naturalists moreover tries to find excuses for their counterparts.

Aren't these shameful enough in this unfortunate country, where a Tigress (with 3 cubs) is killed inside a protected area!
